It’s not wise to spend thousands of dollars on buying expensive skin lighting products and creams because their effect will be gone sooner or later once you stop using them. Many of these products are composed by natural products and derivatives such as lactic acid, alpha hydroxyl acid, and linolenic acids are few to name. The first one is a derived from milk, it is used in skin lighting creams these days. These creams can treat a variety of skin problems such as hyper-pigmentation, dark spots, uneven skin tone, dark patches and sometimes freckles. What if I told you that the same results can be achieved by using organic ingredients which are available at home such as milk, plain flour, yogurt, oatmeal and lemon.

One of many beneficial masks is made with plain yogurt that is rich in natural lactic acid. Though yogurt is a byproduct of milk but it contains several nutrients and vitamins which are good for skin as well as hair.

Lactic acid can improve the appearance of your skin tone by lighting the color and complexion. It can also help banish some major issues such as dryness, dark spots, redness and pigmented skin. It does not take much time and energy to make a mask of yogurt, you can use it as it is, in a plain form and use it with other ingredients like lemon and flour.

Things needed for preparation of yogurt mask for skin lighting

  • Oatmeal flour
  • Lemon juice
  • Plain yellow flour
  • Yogurt
  • One table spoon of milk
  • Powdered milk
  • Honey
  • Combination for yogurt mask

Mix three table spoon of yogurt with two drops of honey and tiny drops of lemon. Now apply this mask all over your skin and let it dry for 15 minutes, give it more minutes to show some effect. Wash your face, you will feel your skin has turned more supple, soft and delicate.

The consistency of yogurt is very thick normally, you can add couple drops of milk to make it thinner and applicable. Now use this mask to cover your face, neck and hands. Rub it softly all over, wash after 20 minutes.

Flour and Yogurt

Use flour or oatmeal with yogurt in a bowl. Mix well and add one drop of lemon. If the paste feels so thick you can add water or rose water in it. Apply it on face.

Add some water in a bowl, add yogurt and then mix it with powdered milk.   Cover your problematic area by thick paste. Keep applying layer over layer on your face. Wash it after 30 minutes, you will notice a big difference.
