How to Remove Pigmentation on Lips

How to Remove Pigmentation on Lips

It’s summer and we all know that we cannot avoid sun light at all. We go shopping, go swimming and step out daily for work, it’s completely impossible for us to protect ourselves from sun rays. Somewhere sun exposure causes so much stress for us, it causes sunburns, tanned skin, body heat and above all sometimes pigmented lips. Small black, white and brown spots begin to appear on the surface of lips, they won’t go away no matter what you do. The only thing you found effective is lipstick, it nicely hides these spots.

It’s not wise to keep hiding your pigmented lips, if there are brown lines and spots; you need to do something in order to heal this condition because the daily use of lipstick can worsen it.

Here are some tips on how to remove pigmentation on lips:

Wear Sunscreen Balm

Wear Sunscreen Balm

We should be thankful to Nivea company for being so caring about customers, they have recently launched a sunscreen lip balm which is being marketed under the brand name Labello on stores. You can buy this balm and apply it onto lipstick when you plan on staying out in sun for any reason. You should avoid sun exposure as much as possible and always wear a protection layer over skin and lips if it’s important to go outside.

Scrubbing with Paste

Lips Scrubbing with Paste

Make one nice scrubber at home and rub your lips with it. The paste will exfoliate your lips, make them look better than before every time you apply. Mix two drops of almond oil with ½ table spoons of powdered milk and two drops of lemon, rub this paste on lips and let it stay for a quite while. Remove it to notice a big difference.

Pure Almond Oil

Pure Almond Oil

It’s not a good idea to keep your lips covered with anything at night except for organic oil or balms. Use one drop of pure almond oil and apply it on lips, perform a light massage and then go to sleep. Your lips will begin to get pinker in tone after one week.

Lemon and Glycerin

Lemon and Glycerin

Lemon will act as an exfoliating agent while glycerin will work as a moisturizer. Mix two drops of lemon juice with ½ table spoons of glycerin and apply the paste onto lips until it gets dry. Let it absorb into lips and wash after 40 minutes. Your lips will become softer and supple; also you will notice reduction in black and brown marks.
